Barbour says GOP needs ‘proctology exam’

2016.”

Barbour, now a top GOP fundraiser, went on to prescribe a “brutally honest assessment of everything we did.”

And
according to officials at the Republican National Committee (RNC), they
plan just that. Party officials said last week that they would begin a
thorough review of their strategy and message, and bring in outside
firms to evaluate their field operation.

“We’ve got to know what they did well,” RNC spokesman Sean Spicer told The Washington Post,
referring to Democrats. “We’ve got to give them credit; they won. We
need to know what we’re going to be up against in 2013, 2014 and 2016.”
