Ron Paul not impressed with Obama's jobs plan

In response to President Obama's jobs plan, Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said Thursday that "for the long term, we're going to keep slipping and sliding, and I don't see an improvement at the rate we're going for a long time to come."

The GOP Presidential hopeful told CNN's Piers Morgan that President Obama's plan won't be able to change the economy enough to create real job growth.  Paul noted that his plan for economic growth involves less on the part of the government, saying that the "people should run the economy."

Paul wasn't optimistic that the job numbers will change: "I cannot understand why people think, 'oh by next summer we're gonna have a lot of jobs' -- I just don't buy that."
