Pentagon spokesman John Kirby and Army Maj. Gen. Hank Taylor are set to hold a briefing with reporters Thursday morning amid the continuing fallout over the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan.

The briefing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. EDT.
