Pelosi: Lack of women panelists at birth-control hearing 'Duh!' moment for GOP

While a second panel included two women, both of whom were opposed to a mandate in the healthcare law requiring birth control be included in insurance plans, it was images of the first, all-male panel that spread like wildfire through Twitter and liberal blogs.

Democrats quickly pounced.

"Imagine they're having a panel on women's health, and they don't have any women on the panel — duh!" Pelosi said during a press briefing in the Capitol. "What is it that men don't understand about women's health and how central the issue of family planning is to that?”
