Watch live: Boeing CEO, chief engineer testify before House transportation panel

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on Wednesday is set to hold a hearing on the Boeing 737 Max airplane.

Boeing President and CEO Dennis Muilenburg and John Hamilton, chief engineer of Boeing’s commercial airplanes division, will face lawmakers.

The hearing follows Tuesday's testimony in front of a Senate panel and comes nearly a year after the Lion Air Flight 610 crash that left 189 people dead. Five months later, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, another 737 Max, crashed, killing 157.

The House hearing is set to begin at 10 a.m.
