Mayor Bloomberg issues evacuation warning for NYC

He announced Friday afternoon that the city would be shutting down the city's subway and transit systems and ordered a mandatory evacuation of costal areas of Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and lower Manhattan.

"There is no question that we are going to get hit with wind and high water that is very dangerous and it's hard to believe when you look outside and see the sun, but it's some sense the calm before the storm," said Bloomberg.
