Gov. Haley Barbour (R-Miss.) doesn’t think he’d make the best candidate for vice president.

“I don’t think I’m a good running mate for anybody,” Barbour told Fox News on Monday.

The Mississippi governor, who considered a presidential bid before deciding he didn't have the "fire in the belly" to run, was asked whether he would consider the Number Two spot on the GOP presidential ticket.

Casting doubts on his national appeal, Barbour noted that he wouldn’t carry more than a few states in a presidential election.
