Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) went off-the-cuff in his own response to President Obama's State of the Union address, but needed to start over during an unedited video originally posted to YouTube.
Cruz criticized Obama for "painting a rosy picture" of the economy but said labor force participation is at one of its lowest points since the 1970s.
After continuing to hit Obama on the economy, Cruz asked for a mulligan.
"Eh, let me start over," Cruz said as he turned away from the camera.
The video has since been deleted from YouTube, but has resurfaced on other YouTube accounts.
Cruz powered through the second take and didn't ask to start over again.
