Strategist says Dems should worry about Kasich, Rubio

A Democratic strategist says her party should be scared by two GOP presidential candidates following Thursday night's prime-time debate in Cleveland: Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Cartney McCracken, a partner at Control Point Group, tells The Hill's Molly K. Hooper that of the 10 GOP contenders on stage, Kasich and Rubio were the best at targeting independents.

“The scary thing for Democrats, to me, was how Kasich and Rubio both figured out how to get these independents,’ McCracken said. “And as a Democrat that’s what I’d be focused on.”
