Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) may have attended college on a football scholarship, but a recent toss of the pigskin didn’t go too well for the presidential hopeful at the Iowa State Fair.
{mosads}Rubio took time out from campaigning in Iowa to throw a football with a young boy, but the senator’s pass wound up hitting the kid in the face.
It should be noted that Rubio’s throw was pretty solid, but the ball went right through the boy’s hands.
Rubio went to Tarkio College in Missouri for one year on a football scholarship before transferring to Santa Fe Community College in Florida. He later graduated from the University of Florida.
