Oprah: I'll never run for president

Oprah Winfrey says she won’t be making a White House bid in 2016 — or ever.

“I can tell you one thing you can be assured of in this lifetime: As long as I’m black, I will not be running for office,” the former talk show queen tells "Extra" correspondent A.J. Calloway in an interview posted Wednesday.

“Never,” Winfrey said.

Winfrey, who supported President Obama's two campaigns, also weighed in on the current GOP front-runner, Donald Trump.

When asked if she thought the real estate mogul would be doing as well as he is, Winfrey, 61, responded, “I don’t know, did he think he would be doing as well as he’s doing?”

But the television personality, who is promoting her faith and spirituality series, “Belief,” on her OWN channel, quipped that there was no truth to chatter that she was being courted as Trump’s running mate.

“We had a conference about it,” Winfrey said with a laugh. “No we did not, we did not!”
