'Supergirl' star responds to Jeb Bush calling her 'hot'

“Supergirl” star Melissa Benoist says she doesn’t know what to make of Jeb Bush’s recent comments calling her “hot.”

“I definitely, I heard about it,” a laughing Benoist told “CBS This Morning” co-host Norah O’Donnell on Monday.

“I don’t know what I think about it,” the actress, 27, continued, still chuckling.

The GOP presidential candidate said last week he caught a promo for the CBS series, which premieres Monday night, during a morning workout.

“She looked pretty hot,” Bush said of the show’s Woman of Steel-playing lead. “I don’t know what channel it’s on, but I’m looking forward to that.”

“I’m glad he’s excited to watch the show,” Benoist said Monday with a grin.
