WATCH: Biden on Trump’s button: ‘I just hope he doesn’t touch it’

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday said he hopes that President Trump will stay away from the nuclear button.

Asked about Trump’s tweet saying his nuclear button is "bigger" than North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s, Biden paused and let out a long sigh.

“I just hope he doesn't touch it,” he said.

Biden, who some think might run for president against Trump in 2020, spent Wednesday afternoon on Capitol Hill attending the swearing-in ceremony for Alabama Democratic Sen. Doug Jones.

He also offered a remark about Trump's Wednesday statement that former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon had “lost his mind” after leaving the White House.

“Guys, this is a mystery novel,” he said of the Trump presidency.
